Text description provided by the architects. Hotel buildings are a part of the country complex Relax Park Verholy, which is located in a picturesque pine forest in the Poltava region, Ukraine. The complex has been created for urban residents, tired of the hustle and bustle, for those who need to take breath and relax in the fresh air.
There are 55 rooms in the complex at the moment: in two hotel buildings, cottages and individual chalets. Interiors and exteriors are made of natural materials in minimalist aesthetics. The architecture emphasizes the discreet and friendly nature around. The communication with the nature is underlined by the choice of natural materials such as wood and stone coming in a harmonious dialogue with the environment.
Hotel buildings are realized in the minimalist aesthetics with eco-friendly materials as well. Through the glazed hall one can see the lake and the pine trees. Designers used wear-resistant panels and glass, replacing short-life plasterboards in the interiors.
In contrast to city hotels often without balcony because of the noise, the rooms in hotel buildings are equipped with balconies, where one can admire the surrounding landscapes and breathe the fresh air.
The visual and mood accents have been made with contrast black color, linear elements supporting the rhythm of the pines outside, and emotional details such as birdhouses and the decorative branch cuttings with wooden bird figurines — a symbol of Relax Park Verholy.
The complex offers many activities for relax and leisure: relaxing spa, swimming pools, horse riding, fishing, biking, forest walks, yoga, fitness and of course delicious food at the restaurant Food & Forest, already famous among the gourmets from all Ukraine.
